...Its now August and we are starting to think Wedding Season already. July flew by with a couple of weddings and events, but what I am really seeing is more customers loving the new look shop and our hours of business...

Winter has hit Mooloolaba, although the sun may shine boy the temperature has dropped. It has been a busy month of funeral work, I hope the cold spell has not been the cause. We enter July with an Election, so lets hope which ever party wins helps the small business.  We are also starting our first bouquet Workshop with Liz at the helm on Thursday 7th July at 6.00pm. Watch this space for photo's from the evening. 

Going into June and the sun is still shining down in Mooloolaba.

As always there is a lot going on at Adore flowers. As floristwe are always involved with all aspects of life and everyday situations, wether it be a Birthday, Wedding, New Home or Anniversary. At the moment we are also busy with Funeral Tributes for Gregson &Weight.We believe at Adore that Tribute flowers at Funerals are given 110% attention to detail and used with the highestquality of flowers. They provide the colour and lasting memory that you take away from that day.

 Sunday 29th May was a stunning sunny day down at Mooloolaba Surf Club where we where on show for the Surf Clubs Wedding Fair. It was a very busy afternoon with many brides, grooms and parents coming through. It was also great to meet all the other Wedding Suppliers especially Beedazzled Events of whom we teamed up with for the afternoon arranging bridal table flowers, several table centres and much more. It was also a pleasure to work with Roxanne and her team at The Mooloolaba Surf Club who's venue is available for you to hire with some great Wedding Packages. Adore Flowers looks forward to working with both companies on future...

 So our first week at Adore. Wow what a week to 

start, not only opening a new business but within the week of Mothers Day. We would like to thank all our customers for the fantastic feedback on the shop and of course your custom. At Adore we take great pride in our work, so feedback is very important to us as it helps improve on our service and also our product, your flowers. Please feel free to send us an email at anytime.

Over the next few weeks both Liz and I will start to work on exciting projects such as Adore Workshops as well as looking after up and coming Weddings and Corporate events.

 Adore Flowers has now opened its doors at No.2/129 Brisbane Road, Mooloolaba and already our customers are full of praise for the new style boutique flower shop. Its been a busy week. Just opening a new business is one thing especially in the week of Mothers Day. Liz pictured left working on Funeral spray has also battled through this week with a stinky cold, her commitment and passion is what Adore is all about. 

So today Friday, Liz and I started to plant up some of the stunning succulents and plants we are stocking at Adore Flower shop. Things are really starting to take shape as Mothers Day creeps nearer. I am also please to say we are currently working on our Web Site so I should be able to bring you pictures of all our stock soon.

 After a couple of big weeks with the hammer and saw I am pleased to say the shop is finally finished. Now comes the fun as we start to get creative. Liz comes on board this week so two heads will work better than one as we start to prepare for May 3rd and the rest of the year to come..

After nearly two weeks the  Adore Flower Shop is nearly finished with the new look. Murray our local Mooloolaba shop fitter and I have had so much fun designing our new rustic look. So many locals have already walked passed and commented. Especially as this week I started to stock up with our new variety of locally grown Queensland Plants. It really added some colour to the street

& was not long before I started to take our first order. On that note it was very pleasing to have a local lady come in and enquire about our Workshops on Floristry, there will be more information on these in coming weeks. It was also very pleasing...

On Monday April 11th, I opened the doors to start the re-fit to No.2/129 Brisbane Road, located next to the existing  Adore Flower Shop. The plan is the Chiropractor will expand into 3/129 Brisbane Road and I will move Adore Flowers next door.

Work began at a great pace as Murray and I start to re style the old shop into the NEW LOOK for Adore Flowers (& Plants). My vision for Adore will slowly be revealed over the next few weeks, I look forward to all your feedback.
